Laura Dickeson

Laura is a qualified lawyer in the UK and a Regulated Immigration Consultant in Canada (RCIC). After completing her law degree and lawyer qualifications in London, England, she worked as a lawyer before moving to Canada and qualifying as an RCIC. She has worked in the legal field for 12 years and has experience dealing with Immigration matters for Express Entry (including PNP), LMIAs, temporary work permits, study permits and family sponsorships.

  • Completion of required IMM portal docs

Temporary Work Permit

  • Come to Canada as a temporary worker
  • Come to Canada on a working holiday visa
  • Review an existing work permit

Study Permits

  • Come to Canada as a student and learn at a Canadian School, College or University
  • Renew an existing study permit
  • You may be applicable to also work while studying
  • Obtain a Study Permit while your spouse is working

Caregiver Visas

  • As a caregiver you can chose whether to come Canada temporary or on a permanent basis
  • You can apply as a Home child care provider or a Home support worker
  • If you are currently working in Canada as a caregiver, you may be eligible to extend your work permit

Express Entry

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (no Canadian work experience required)
  • Canadian Experience Class (need at least 1 year of Canadian work experience)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (No Canadian work experience required, but need foreign work experience in a skilled trade role)

LMIA

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

  • Each province has its own programs
  • For people that want to live in a certain province
  • Can be nominated by the province to apply for permanent residency

Parent/Grandparent Supervisa

  • For Parents/Grandparents that want to visit their children/grandchildren for up to 2 years at a time
  • It is a multi-entry visa and is valid for a period up to 10 years
  • Cheaper Application fees than Sponsorship

Family Sponsorship

  • Sponsor a family member to become a permanent resident of Canada
  • Be sponsored to become a permanent resident of Canada
  • Adopt a child to become a permanent resident of Canada
